Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 31, 2026

Stunf B.V. ("Thymer," "we," or "us") provides the Thymer app and hosted service.

Information we handle

We collect account details you provide, such as your display name, email address, and feedback. Workspace content and files synced through Thymer's hosted service are end-to-end encrypted. We cannot read that content. For details about what is encrypted, visible metadata, key management, and security limitations, see our Security Whitepaper.

We also collect limited technical information needed to operate, secure, and improve the service, such as web request logs (including IP address, device and browser information), and crash reports. A crash report may include your account identifier and a technical error message, not content.

How we use and share information

We use information only to provide, secure, support, and improve Thymer and to communicate with you. We do not sell personal information, show ads, or track you across other companies' apps or websites.

We share information only with service providers needed to operate Thymer (such as hosting, encrypted file storage, and email delivery), when you direct us to share it with workspace collaborators, or when required by law.

Storage and deletion

We keep account information and encrypted synced data while your account is active. You can delete workspace data or close your Thymer Cloud account using Close Account in the app. Removing an account from the account switcher in the desktop app, iOS app or Android app may delete its local app data but does not close the hosted account. We retain logs, crash reports, and backups only as long as reasonably necessary for operations, security, recovery, and legal obligations, after which we delete or anonymize them.

Self-hosted servers

If you connect the app to a self-hosted Thymer server, that server's operator controls the information processed by that server. Their privacy practices apply in addition to this policy.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as Thymer evolves. We will change the effective date above when we do. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to [email protected].
