Working together
A workspace is one shared place, edited live. Open a page a teammate has open and you see their cursor and selection move as they type, with their name on it, and the status bar shows who is in the workspace right now. Thymer is real-time collaborative: multiple users can edit at the same time with changes reaching everyone within a moment.
Pointing someone at a page
Everything in the workspace is already shared, so to point someone at a page, send its link with Copy Page Link from the page menu. For attention, mention the person in a line; @me in search and the Tasks overview collect what has their name on it.
Leaving a note in someone’s Journal
Every member has their own Journal in the workspace, so you can also leave a note on a teammate’s Journal page for a day. Press ⌘JCtrl+J again on your own Journal to step through your teammates’ Journals, or click a person’s name and choose Go to Journal. See The Journal.
Working offline together
People can keep editing offline, on a plane for example. When they reconnect, their changes merge with what happened in the meantime, line by line. Version history on the page keeps every step. See Offline and sync.
Cursors on or off
Toggle multiplayer cursors in the command palette hides teammates’ cursors when they get in the way of your reading, and brings them back.
Agents join in the same way
An agent editing through Markdown Mirror or MCP is one more editor in the workspace, acting as you. Its changes merge like everyone else’s. See AI agents and CLI.
